So I had a heartbreaking yet very heart warming encounter with a student today. Thankfully he was too young to see how neglected he is. He came to my room after I spoke with someone from Social Services. He explained that he was left home alone like the kid in the movie. He said he was able to watch whatever he wanted because no one was home and play whatever he wanted because he was Home Alone. He is 5. Here's to innocence...
I don't see what the problem is here.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Very funny. If you leave Reese and Trey Home Alone I will report you.
DeleteDid you ask these questions?
ReplyDeleteHas the child been involved in violence with a drunk family member?
Has he been involved in a household accident?
Has the child ingested any poison or is an object lodged in his throat?
while eating a donut?
ReplyDeleteAlways eat donuts while talking to kids!
DeleteI reread you story charity and I see the problem now. The kid was 5. You have to wait until they are 8 years old before you make them live on their own.
